    Well for those of you havent met me I am soon to be 45, over weight, balding and unfit....So why on earth have i just signed up to do the brighton marathon! I will be running as part of a group for Heart radio for charity but why oh why did I do it? I wasnt even drunk at the time!

    Not just stupid, but a special kind of stupid! One thing I learnt once I joined the TA is that I really hate running and now I only run when chased! :)

    Cheers guys. April the 15th. Will post nearer the time so I can scrounge some cash.

    The thought of getting a massage at the end of it (hopefully by some young fillies) sounds good too!

    The last long distance running I did I was about 14 years old and was chased (by about 25 ethnic people wanting blood) from streatham ice rink down to the common, accross the common, then back to the main road before jumping on the back of a bus. Yes in those days they had an open back with a platform!

    So yes, second week in to the training and all is going well...I will let you how its going in a couple of months!
