    Not that I support what he did...but how do they know what speeds he did? You can't see the odo - bit hard to prove the actual miles he was doing..... Be devastating to have bike confiscated :(

    Lose £3000-worth of bike and escape jail? No comparison, is there? Devastated - I should think he's one very relieved person right now!!

    It wouldn't be rocket science to work out how fast the bike is going from the footage - things like white lines are a standard length and a standard distance apart. Just a simple matter of counting with a stopwatch.

    whilst he clearly is a total cock and deserves all he got,it amazes me we never hear the outcry about people who kill through dangerous driving.especially if it happens to be a motorcyclist who dies.
