    If next weekend's weather is anything like today's, I won't be joining you all I'm afraid. I find no joy in riding in weather like this. :(

    Right! Gonna be arriving in Uckfield at 1200, so will be at 1066, on A21 Robertsbridge/Johns cross at 1030, leaving at 1100. Anybody wanna meet there first for a coffee and/or brekky???:)

    :cry: I cannot get warm. I'm wearing leggings, jeans, thermal linings, woolly socks, and I'm still cold on my bike.

    And last night I had a bit of a scary ride home because the headlights of the oncoming vehicles were seriously dazzling me. It was like I had been in chlorine looking at lights - you know how they kind of "bleed". Didn't like that much. I'm out of this I'm afraid. Hate thinking that I'm packing the bike away this early, I thought I'd be riding until the grit appeared. :cry:

    i wouldn't pack the bike away just yet, just hope it gets warmer again. maybe try getting hold of some base layers i think aldi or lidl have some coming up they work well. give them a try before you give up
    or there is the heated gear these days :fume: keeps you toastie
