Neville Crest & Gun is the only one I know on the main rd. Anyone know what it's like?

 

Food was crap last time I went there , about 5 years ago??? Easy to find though?

Christmas dinner sounds good... I'm off work that week so count me in! I don't know TW at all... but this place looks good, they need orders 3 weeks in advance tho, according to their menu...

Theres a big pub in Lamberhurst, not far from Kippings cross on the old A21. I'll check that out??

Check out the one you are thinking of and get the name and we can look up reviews. They all seem to be 25 squid for 3 courses which seems pretty reasonable x

 

Just phoned the Chequers, he can fit 20/25 in his main room, with extra rooms. We would have to confirm approx numbers before, but he can fit us in. He has an open fire and it's approx £20/each for 3 course Christmas menu(turkey). Haven't eaten there , but it's a nice pub??? He'll be eMailing me later with the menus.

I last ate there a couple of years ago (once only!!!! never to return!!!) but it can only have improved from when the previous owners had it.....Trip Advisor has mixed reviews..

Your're prob to late to get in The Vine, and its not that big.
The Brown Trout does have a large room on the side/back that seats about 20/25
