Excellent turn out today. Had to visit mother this morning so made up my own ride to get to Wessons. Sounds as though most of you did too! :hah:

WOW! just got in, great day and great company. Quite a few met at 1066. Thought it would take about an hour to get to Uckfield , but only took 35 mins, good old Googlemap!. Think I counted 4 newbies and about 20 regulars on the car park. Not bad for a mid November meet? Well led by Paul and Rob, apart from a couple of hiccups, but we all made it to Wessons. Took a while to get served, but a great bunch and a good natter around the big table. A few of us headed back to Rye on the Battle B road and the Udimore road. Great to see a load of Boxhillers in Wessons and Rye. Left Rye at 1610 as the sun was setting and I had my dark visor on.

Whoo! 197 miles for me today and just a couple of minor detours! Couldn't of asked for a better day for a rideout!

Good pics, Megawatt and Davetona! Tks. Normally I'm better at taking some pictures but I failed miserably today: I was too intent on getting in the queue for food having managed to (i) lose the main pack (ii) lose the secondary, 'who's left pack' and then (iii) get myself thoroughly lost down a single track cart track - don't ask where! All I can say is that I knew Horam was south of where I was and I figured if I headed into the sun I'd not be too far wrong. Very decent turnout of folks and am now feeling far more human having nattered with you guys instead of the unmitigated, meretricious b@$£@"ds I usually have to deal with.

Hope the 125ers and Ryan (sole 50er) had an ok time too. Stick up some posts and let us know!

Now I'm going to try to find the Sticky someone said is here which guides and informs about rideout protocol and how not to get myself lost!

Thanks to RW for instigating and organising  and huge thanks to Sporty for the :eat:.

Well done for the turn out & support today guys & gals & for showing our younger members that bikers can be sensible although no good at directions ;) Was a good day even though we were late leaving Uckfield & the small problem of getting split at the Mayfield roundabout ;)

Ryan & I took the back route back to Uckfield from Wessons via Lions Green & Waldron into Framfield. Hope the rest of you had a good day on your respective rides.
