I think the tried and tested tyres on fire method would be best...the fire engine could just take a wrong turn on the way to put it out!

FYI. The flashes are normally set 1/2 second apart in a 30 limit. (I've got a picture to prove it. )

Of course, it does help having a Guzzirob up your arse whilst passing a speed......I mean.....a safety camera! :bounce::bounce::bounce:

Jim, was it the one in Loose road? If so they've just released the figure of (more than) 1500 vehicles caught there in the last year. They still bleat about them not being money machines though.

but thats only £90,000 not including any late payers, higher fines mulitple fines etc etc they have to state that they make no money or we might all get pi$$ed off that our roads are still falling apart and that our fuel is so dam expensive.:mad:

Yes Les :(, oh well as long as they spend my money on something worthwhile like road repairs!
1/2 second eh Rob, well all I can say is that I must have the reaction time of a WSB rider cos I definately shut the throttle after the first flash!

That may be the case but does the bike react like a WSB bike? ;)

Nah... bet it flashed twice when you say it and then flashed twice again cos you was still in the lined zone, (:) but they can only fine you once)

Bad luck Jim , (although im sure a purist traffic cop might argue luck plays no part in speed).
My ''like'' on the post was for the offer of a speeding course not the NIP, btw but i cant speak for Hanna's intentions though ,:chide: :giggle:.
Out of curiosity will that affect insurance or does it even have to be declared?

Oi! I'm confident that Jim knows me well enough to know what my intentions are (with this regard at least) without the need for explanations! :ner:

    Lol,
apparently if you do the speed awareness course you don't have to tell your insurance company because there will be no points, I'll see what the course is about (kinda know cos I've taken part from the other side), how much it costs and where it is. I may just suck it up , have the points and be done with it, will let you know!

Equally annoying is that the £80 you pay for the course goes directly to fund the cams.

don't take the points, they will effect you for years. do the course, have the piss ripped out of you but at least you then get another 4 chances of collecting the points :D

plus you can with a bit of banter get the biker down course promoted maybe with a view the speed awareness course could maybe look at taking on some of your ideas and get a wider audiance
( Hanna time for your spell check please :p)

My last speeding ticket didnt affect my ins premium at all, that i'm aware of. Taking the points are always an option for convenience but then it is always nice to say youv'e got a clean licence.

I'm guessing you'l be attending the course with a respectable disguise to hide your true identity, moustache, dark sunglasses and wig (you could ask to borrow Les's if you don't already have your own or can't find it). (:

Don't hold your breath, I don't really fancy it! :cautious: But I would certainly be incognito!:nerd: To avoid being recognised by any :cop:
