Marathon begging bowl goes out...

    Right then peeps, begging bowl out. On April 15th I will be running the Brighton marathon, a full 26 miles! Yes this chunky 45 year old asthmatic is going for it! I have not run further than 1.5miles until I started training for this and I have gone 10 miles so far. It will be difficult but my aim is to finish no matter what.

    I am running with 200 other people representing Heart Radio (Jack the lad being one for those of you who listen in). We are raising money for Childline and the neuroblastoma alliance. I know that times are still difficult out there but if any of you can spare a couple of quid I would really appreciate it.     Cheers guys. Training is really hard and I am a bit behind, about 3 miles off my target! Felt the knee go twang today and ran with shooting pains up my knee cap for the last mile. So only short runs runs until 'M' day!
