Sold two bikes, one through each. I think MCN has the wider readership though.

Freeadds, not great but less bikes in there for readers to compare low prices with, always bet theres people out there more desperate to sell , usually for stupiedly low money. Try pistonheads web site too

Hubby's had his '08 R1 on autotraders for 3 weeks and no bites. Only one viewing. Wish summer season would hurry up so he can sell her....

I'm with Rob - eBay every time. Just be careful about your wording to weed out the time wasters. I've never had an auction for a bike run until the end as they've ended early due to interest. Having said that, I've also never had anyone come look at any of my bikes and not buy it. I'll PM you some typical eBay listing T&Cs if you like.

If it makes any difference, I only checked MCN twice when looking for a bike to buy over the past couple of weeks. I just didn't find it very user-friendly. BikeTrader has always been my favourite. eBay seems to have a higher success rate though.

EBay has a massive turn over and is very effective bit they take a % if you sell through them.
Pistonheads is excellent and very busy.
Have listed with biketrader / mcn but mcn but neither had much action.
EBay and PH give you more room too.

Had my old ZX advertised on Biketrader and nothing, stuck it in the Friday ad sold it straight away. I think it depends on when, what, how much and luck!
