Not going to make it I'm afraid. Having a lazy morning and watching the racing. Will be out this afternoon after GP weather permitting. Will see if anyone is out then.

Well , pi$$ poor turnout from SECB today:mad: Don't moan about wet weather when you can't be bothered to ride yer bikes when it is dry n sunny  . A bit damp early on, but glorious sunshine for most of the day. Had an interesting rideout with Tom and later Nige Clark from Folkstone Bikers. My Blade was a triple for most of today, but it did tickover and I passed Nige at 120mph on the Canal Road. He deduced that it wasn't a carb problem by the smell of unburnt fuel and I just changed a non sparking , nearly new Iridium plug. And when I'd sorted that , I came in and watched the GP :p

at least it was a simple plug problem :D weather was good and nice dry roads, plenty of bikes at the oasis but very few in rye

Thanks Rob, but that was because I didn't wanna go. Do you want me to tell you every time I don't wanna go somewhere or when I do?
    Les, pi$$ off;)
I was told recently that the other local forum had had more rideouts this spring than we had. Now THAT'S embarassing!!!

    Agree with Yoda, Megawatt.
I would have loved to have been out on Sunday, as well as being out on Saturday for a short time with some (Tom, Kev, Lost, Lammy) but having been out of work since November I need to watch the budget. This month saw Bike Insurance and Tax due, as well as the Road Tax on my dreaded 4 wheel tonka toy. Since this year began there are not many weekends I have missed but I can't afford £20 tank fulls of gas all the time.
I am not COMPLAINING, but I do find you comments somewhat offensive to a degree. You are, after all, entitled to your own opinion.

Lets just all chill out a bit here. I`m sure Megawatt didn`t mean to offend anyone. I suspect he`s just disappointed a few more didn`t turn up as he is a very sociable guy. I`m one of the members here who hasn`t been out & about much lately for various reasons but that`s about to change as I have a bit more free time available.

Megawatt, please don`t stop organising rides mate. I know everyone who has made it to one of yours has had a thoroughly good time.

Don't you stop asking/posting mate, just cos I often can't go doesn't mean I don't want to or never will. And of course, if you don't post...how can we take the pi$$.;)

OK people, dummy picked up off floor and back in pram. Don't wanna steel Yoda's rideout , but how about a B road route to Boxhill and back on Sunday.
Kev, if you have a ride on my bike you will feel what I mean! It is slow outta corners and riding on a neutral throttle, it is surging and slowing as if it's gonna stop???
    Les, take the pi$$ off;)
