    Sorry, yes...should have added that he had a lucky escape. He was doing (approx) 70mph when he hit it..... very bruised and pride dented but otherwise OK. He's already looking for a replacement once his insurance pays up.

    This happened on the Yorkshire Dales and just after dusk.
    As you all know there are hundreds of the buggers around our area (Ashdown Forest etc) and it is a warning shot to us to be vigilant. It's not always when it is dark either as Lammy had a close call a couple of months ago in the middle of the day on the run from Battle to Wessons!
