True... I have looked into it a little and there is a pickling solution (strong acid i guess) that would make them gleam, but i do kinda like the 'burnt' look. Chrome might be nice but wouldnt it 'blooooo'? which sometimes looks good too. Maybe a future modification

A spotty yoof at our local Halfrauds directed to me to an Autoglym metal polish product which he claimed to have used on the rocker cover of his Corsa (I know, I know) and produced a mirror finish. I was searching for a product other than Solvol Autosol, because my experience was that use of the latter left a finish which went dull and rusted. I had gone there asking for something which I could use on downpipes on my son's SV 650S. The Autoglym stuff leaves an aluminium coating which stops future rusting. You may wish to consider this!

I will bow to greater experience of Ducky, Finchy & Co, but now you don't have to take off the fairings, tyres and seat in order to clean the thing!

No more blue pipes. With Blue-Job!

I`ve got some of this & although using by hand it IS a slow process, now I know I can use the big cloth on a sander my rear pipe may well be coming off at the end of the season for a proper clean.

:hah: I'm not sure about this... Is it a wind up? Did you do the voice over? Have you used it? Will it whiten Finchy's teeth?

Yes I do have some, I was going to use it to get rid of the nickel plate look I`ve got on the downpipe from my rear cylinder but doing it by hand does take a while but it does work. As the guy in the vid says, the active ingredient is your elbow :D
