My camping Tickets came yesterday too

 

I will be there about lunchtime Thursday - would be nice if someone else can get there Thrusday night as its quite a big pitch I will need to rope off . I have a couple of friends coming with a varavan too but not till late fri - and 4 other guys in 2 tents and 2 cars (fri) along with those from here so any help would be appreciated xx Not heard from Paul so dont know if we have a Gazebo either :-( Oh and I might have a good mate coming ina camper van too x

 

just realised too I am going out for an Indian Thursday evening - so you will have to look out for my car - that i will leave spread over the area as much as I can ! pmsl - (will get alift to Indian ) so you will have to set up as best you can and then I can move my car when I get back xx You heard from paul ? must admit I not texted him x

 

I'm going to be bringing a stove but it's only on of them aerosol types but it works

 

I have done a curry ................ not one of my besties :-( but once I know who will be their for Fri - I will do the mutts nutts rice so we can loose the curry in it ... x I only have a 2 ring hair spray size can cooker and another little gassy bottle one ...

 

I have a load of gear, but don't have a car this weekend so can't get it there . If someone wants to pick any of it up, and bring it back sometime afterwards (not needed immediately), I have.....

• 6m x 3m free standing marquee/awning. Needs a van or people carrier to transport. See previous post for piccies
• Paella burner with paella pan and griddle - will do breakfast for everyone. Has a full size 15kg gas bottle
• Extra large (2 gallon?) preserving pans x 2 (for cooking large quantities of stew, curry, rice etc.)
• 1 kw generator (no good for kettles - but good for lights)
• Cheap standard gazebo no sides.
• Picnic tables x 2

 

I will hopefully do enough Rice for 12 people for Fri .............. has some crap beef curry to mix with it ..........feel more than welcome to bring your own stuff that goes with rice ...... will take BIG wok to fry it off in ........... hoping wok will fit on my little two ring burner . Breakfast seems to be in the bag ..............so really just Sat night to find food for .. x perhaps we can all muck in with left overs etc ?

 

Jim - Hope someone can take you up on the Marquee...../awning cos if it tips down - we wont have a *communal* place to chill /eat/chat/drink.

Not certain what a paella burner is (sounds good) but I can fry off in a wok for Friday.

Not certain how the breakfast will be cooked ??? (do we need a plan ??)

I have Catering size pans -- but dont think they be needed ??

Genny sounds good ? for early late evening - will be at bar in the middle bit lol

Cheap standard gazebo sounds good too -Pucnic table . hmmm we could maybe get by without -- but if someone has vehicle bring as much as can

I've got my party grill thing just need to get a gas canister for it. I'm sure they do them in tesco. Shall I get a log?

 

Something to put it on would be good. A metal tray or something would suffice
