It all comes down to white lines :( HELP!!!

    Depending on how close to the junction you were at the time of the crash, that may have a bearing, but it is not a hatched area in the true sense of the word, and so has no bearing on the matter.

    id have to say overtaking whilst approaching or passing a junction may well be the defences hidden ace up thier sleeve and may lead to them possibly looking for "driving without due care and attention" id be very wary imo

    If it is close to the junction, it can be used to attribute some contributory negligence, but that does not detract from the fact that the turning driver still has to observe a statutory duty of care before they commence the turn.
