Battery full charged (suspected starter motor) :stomp: so bump started, back towards garage. 20 miles later, the dashboards got more lights flashing than a Xmas tree, including STOP in big red letters :stomp::stomp:, one tow triuck later now have another Micra on loan, at least its a manual!!!!

Hot water cyclinder springing a leak overnight leaving water pouring through the new ceiling fitted in our new kitchen, lucky that it didnt go when we had a house full on Christmas and Boxing Day but wish it had happened before we had all the work done!!

:(, assuming it is the actual Cylinder leaking, and not fittings, if you need to replace it get a Stainless Steel one, and never need to replace again, (well unless you fill it with Scale, though I would rather descale it than replace a stainless steel one)

Left my bike in P mode when got to work, leaving my park lights on & resulted in a flat battery at end of shift, had to call hubby who had to jump start it in 38 degrees Celsius having to run up a hill multiple times!!

....lesson learnt (after lecture of course)

This bloody chest infection! Two weeks in now and I am very bored of it! Had to crack open another bottle of red to see if that will help clear it along with the second course of antibiotics and steroids! :D

After carefully picking the best of the options advertised carwise for littlun, one is found in Dartford......sounds superb for the money, sooooooo.....go to Rye pick littlun up, go to Heathfield, pick mechanic up (not daft see? :think2:...well, not always) then off to Dartford. The car was nothing and I mean NOTHING like advertised, not even close! No oil in gearbox, every gear crunched, suspension fu.....knackered, head gasket on the way out and the radiator, that was advertised as slight weeping.....was sobbing uncontrollably!!! Oh and there was oil dripping out of virtually every possible orifice that it could drip from. The bloke was well unhappy that there was a mechanic evident and even more so that he got a "no thanks" ....but not as peeved as me, after doing all that fuel and wasting my damn time. On the plus side, found one in Heathfield, an old school mate was selling it, fantastic condition and got it for a song! But, have now done 300 miles and wasted a whole day, only to buy a car a few miles up the road! At least it worked out well in the end! :D
