Got the bike out the garage for the first time since the end of October. Gave it a quick wash & a once over & it started first prod of the starter button. Not bad for a bike that`s not been on any sort of charger over the winter

Must have a good size battery as big twins take some shifting.

The look on one of our club members face when he got a quote from lakeside harley for a pair of tyres (fitted) for his fatboy, we are talking standard size here (200 rear) not a wide rear wheel like some customs have........Just over £700, yes over £700 oh his face was brilliant.
By the way, he said no....or something like that :hah:

Getting the rocket out for a clean:) and then discovering that first owner had obviously never removed the QUICK release panniers and got at the rear wheel for a proper clean:mad:. But that is a job for a warmer day and a rechargeable tooth brush.

What made me smile today? All your comments, lovely.
As a tooth brush has been mentioned the hair dryer has to be recognised in bike cleaning. Very good at pushing the water out of little recesses....or big ones! Better stop there me thinks.

Insurance renewal came through, under £100! Pity I'm not going to be insuring it and selling the bike instead
