Anyone out and about? Thursday?, looks dry and a little warmer, (little Warmer)

 

May get out for a couple of hours , but not travelling far from home.

 

Only to take bike in the morning for its service at Robinsons Foundry in Canterbury. Probably a longer route home provided weather is good.

Based in Whitstabubble. I shall ride out towards Herne and take back roads in to Broad oak Rd.Are you down in Hastings? 1066 n all that? Nice part of the country.

 

Yeah, 12 miles North of Hastings.

 

I will hopefully be riding the bike to Petworth in the morning, then heading down to Bognor Regis. Depending on what time I finish I might give you a bell.

 

May take a blatt over to 1066 cafe tomorrow lunchtime, depends on paperwork and weather

Went over to the Foundry a couple of weeks ago to look at a Roadking, tisnt the same there now . Bike was well scruffy and asking top price too!

 

Yup, same moby.

 

Foundry are also Victory Dealers

 

I know, not all that impressed with Victory either, looked over a one year old bike there and the chrome was flaking off in places
Might keep an eye out for a 2004 Meanstreak 1600? Last of the shaft driven, prefer them to belt.

Unable to come out to play. Way tired from work and it is far too cold for my wimpy knees.

 

Foundry packed with Victory bikes. Two really big things resembling space crafts.. not my thing. The attached show room had loads of Vespas and other bikes. Nice for a mosey around but the place lacked energy.......life. Shame. Still service all done and cheaper than if it went up the road to MHD. Thinking of selling the bike now so its off being checked by MHD who collected it last evening. See what price they offer and then decide if that's really what I want to do. who knows I might change my mind and keep it for another summer.

 

From what I see snow is forecast for tomorrow! Also, if you are going to venture out from this part of the world...Dont for get the Hastings half marathon is on so there will be a few road closures!
