Now that spring may have finally arrived (at least for a day anyway) I was thinking of putting the bike in for a clean with All Year Biker (www.allyearbiker.co.uk) either at their Ashford site or the public event over in Farnborough.

Has anyone used them recently or heard of any issues?

    Thanks

They did my yamaha in January. Did a good job in two hours of cleaning, polishing and acf50.

:D Yes but sometimes it's nice to have someone else do it as you don't spot the bits you don't want to. Washed the car today and spotted about 10 more scratches that I didn't know were there :fume:

Besides they can apply the ACF50 far more thoroughly than I can.

Had it done by the Ashford guys at the start of winter and by someone further away previously. Haven't washed the winter crud off yet but despite the lack of care and a full winter of riding it will, by past experience, look a lot better than it would have done without the treatment. Worth it for me.

Cheers bud, that was kind of my reasoning as well. Weathers looking good for the weekend so may book myself in for the open day their doing in Farnborough.

Ahh, but do you do it whilst wearing just a g-string and a grin? ;)

It can be arranged ;). I do however insist on protection, so wear wellies at all times.

Took the Tiger over to Farnborough on Sunday and it got the AllYearBiker treatment by Jon of www.jonsbikes.com, very nice it looked to. To be honest she wasn't that dirty to begin with so probably not much point of the before/after shots.

Our of curiosity, does anyone know the real reasons behind why AllYearBiker has been banned from a lot of forums?

The more bike-specific one I'm on has even gone as far as prevent members writing reviews on their services. Whilst I can understand the reasons for stopping commercial plugging when a forum needs advertising to keep itself running, to prevent independent reviews is far too much censorship and goes again the idea of a public forum in the first place.

no idea, maybe when he first joined he flooded them with adverts and got some backs up. Reviews are always welcome, the good and the bad just we do like it backed up with why.

So was it worth the cash or do you keep yours to clean to warrent it ?

As Tom just said, although we don`t allow commercial organisations to advertise, member reviews on services are always welcome as long as they are fair & justified.

I find Gossard Wonderbras very uncomfortable. Hope that helps.

For you, photos are free. I don't do 'open leg' shots though as I'm not a deviant. ;)
