    Must admit I`m pretty impressed with the NHS. Sue has been having some neck problems & had an MRI scan. She went for the results yesterday & was told she`d need an op. Knowing what waiting lists can be like, we were expecting it to be happening when we had planned to go on holiday. VERY surprised when they said "We can do it Monday". :thumbsup:

    Its a c5-c6 anterior cervical discectomy & fusion but we`re not sure if its a herniated disc or bulging disc that`s pressing on some nerves in the spinal column.

    sounds like the same op as nikki had
    surgeon promised that she wouldn't be able to talk for a couple of days after as they had to move the voicebox. bloody liar, :(

    Hugs from me to Sue too xxx I had to take a mate to Medway today for an xray - expected to be there hrs . was 3/4 from parking to getting back in the car IMPRESSED!!!!!
