    Can I just say: I hate the Aussie biker forums!!

    I'm a safe rider. I'm all for fun and letting it go a bit, but that's what tracks are for, not the road with our stringent police. Because I'm not reckless and I'm conservative in my opinions re safety and filtering at 100km/hr in moving traffic on a motorway, I am getting big time heckled!!

    But it's not just me, anyone who is not reckless or 'free spirit' or anything similar, they just get comment bashed! It's unbelievable!

    Example - was abused cause someone stated that they had a new carbon conehead helment and loves it cause it's lighter, but it has a fair bit of noise. I commented that I would prefer reduced wind noise to reduced weight (200g) and got heckled. Followed up by asking what conehead technology was and got abused at!!

    So, just to let you know, I'm never leaving this one - no matter how long I live in Oz!

    Can you guys start an Aussie one?

    There's forums like that over here too, where it's all talk about how fast they are how close they were to being road kill etc. What amazing mod they have done to give them the extra 20 bhp that makes them road gods.

    You might find one with a better mix of people or you may find that there are already people on the forum who aren't keen on that either but have just been keeping quiet for fear of being attacked. Of course your never find a better forum than this :D:D:D.

    Hang in there :thumbsup: and when they talk about new tech etc just ask me :thumbsup: i will then ask skortchio :D

    _Yappa_ I completely agree that if you wanna ride like a racer, then use a track. Believe it or not, even I like to "blow away the cobwebs" every so often but there`s a time & a place.

    As BH said, there may be others who are lurking for the same reasons you are getting blasted. Maybe if you ignore the haters & continue posting, you may draw them out.

    Was thinking about it, but don't know many bikers here yet.

    Not just that - but got promoted at work (yee-hah!) so focussing on that for the moment!
