i would ditch the tolietries then if you are staying in hotels. most of them have complimentary shampoo and soap so you wont need them.you can get mini deodorant sprays from poundland and if you dont mind sharing that would be ideal. a few pairs of skiddies for both. dont forget you can wear them for 4 days. but joking aside you can wash them in the hotel room and they will probably dry overnight. if youre planning on staying in one place they may well have laundry facilities so it might be an idea to check if its gonna be warm you can get away with shorts and flopflips for walking around it. Kevlar jeans to ride and walk around in would be an idea too. i picked up a pair on internet for 40 quid.

My age, allergic to all perfumed soaps and sprays! So always take my own. Yeah, we always wash stuff in the hotel rooms, we have survived a month in France on the bike, sometimes it easier to camp, cos they got all the stuff to use. Reet just got a nice pair of jeans, think they were about £45, I like my leathers.

We traveled through Spain for month with a small backpack each. Same as you we had shoes, lube, duct tape etc in tank bag. I'd take = clothes - jeansx1, shirtsx4, underwear, thermals, cardigan, flip flops and we took plane travel toiletries. Reality is that most of your time is on the bike, so you just need 'throw on clothes' for when not on the bike.

Lay out what you want to take on your bed so you can see it properly, then half it!

Every time I have been away on the bike I have always taken too much, as Yappa says most of the time you will be wearing your biking kit anyway.

Cor! don't be silly, she usually packs for me. That's part of her fun, whenever we go away she'll start buying and stashing bits, at least 3 weeks ahead, no wonder we men can't understand women?:lol2:

Personally, I only take male clothes when on the bike since I find that my dresses crease too easily.
