Kev, You`ve got your own job back once. Unless you`ve made a HUGE ballsup in the last 12 months I can see no reason you`ll get it back again.

    Mental note to self:
Just cause you don't like right hand corners, shouldn't mean that you tense your right arm when going around 4 hours worth of twisties today. Ends up with a dead arm, sore neck and frustrated rider. Give me lefties any day :(

4 hours worth:bow:? I thought Oz was all long straights, unless you got trapped in the multi storey car park:giggle:.

LOL @ Les!!! Reckon I'd manage to get lost if it was a carpark

This is what we did today: http://tinyurl.com/kg6zhc7

If you get a chance zoom in on the section E to I - AMAZING!!!! D to E was soooo good we went down, back up and down again (hence tagged twice!) Hubby tweaked my riding style and ended up being a training session day!! Got good lean now, just gotta get my cement butt to move!!

There`s a theory why more riders don`t like right hand corners than left. Most ppl are right handed & its a subconcious thing to try to protect your dominant side.

LOL Never thought of that. I just put it down to the fact that I was happy to fall off the side of a mountain cliff, but didn't want run into another car lol!

Spent most of the day welding up the exhaust on the track bike. We're both suffering from our age :(

But you're a closet lefty, Rob. There's another reason left turns are psychologically easier: the camber generally helps you - until things have gone awry, of course!

re the l/h - r/h cornering preference: If anyone has ever experienced sliding off a l/h at speed, then continuing on across the central divide, regardless of what eventually stops your inertia, the thought will/should cross your mind that if not for 'timing' maybe split seconds or minutes, something would have been or will be coming at you from the opposite direction.

I Lurve all twisties  but feel safer (when in the mood to push it some) pushing it around a r/h as the chances are if i crash, i may hit a static object, not one coming towards me at speed, weighing a few tons. :poop:

thats why we go to the track :) no real static objects or moving ones...well maybe moving ones, but at least they are sort of going in the same direction...:D

Not being able to attend tonights Blue Boys extravaganza - again. Have only just realised I have to attend an official dinner instead. The next part of this confession may just strike a chord with some of you: I thought I'd better get out my DJ and check I have the requisite dicky bow and shirt and so on. Can I find it? Can I Hell...

Either (i) those little elves which spend their nights tightening all the stitching in my clothes until they don't fit properly have finally tightened it so much the whole garment has vanished, (like the Oozlum Bird), or (ii) I forgot to collect it from the dry cleaners when last it was used or, just maybe, (iii) my son borrowed it on a sort of semi-permanent basis. But he's in Northampton and my dinner starts at 7pm tonight. So I just had to visit a Very Nice Man at Moss Bros. Happily they stock suits for gents my size and are doing a special offer at the moment: some of the plainer DJ suits are being sold with a shirt and plain bow tie for £149.

Even if you don't normally attend this sort of thing, that isn't a bad price for a basic quality suit! So, it wasn't all bad :)
