Just got in, other than getting caught along with SteveeP behind a mobile home being transported on the ride from the 1066 which "almost" resulted in a very overheated TZR it was great. Nice and much cooler ride back and surprised a couple of bikes that blasted past me so decided to tail them with my little 2T. Couldn't lose me through the bends - much fun!!

I really dislike riding at dusk, my dusk vision is bad, especially when my visor is covered in little monsta's and seems I get dazzled easily by oncoming cars...almost missed a bend or two on the way home and rode like a grandma...

had a great night, ride home wasn't too bad either apart from the abundance of kamikaze bugs that peppered my visor.. oh and the detour through brookland/brenzett to get home as there was an accident just after the camber road turnoff from rye, which had shut the road ...

Likewise....might need to get my glasses checked as my dusk/night vision is shite!

On the topic of glasses: I just got new specs yesterday - a revelation! The vision equivalent of picking up your car from service and experiencing what it felt like when it was new. Am still wandering around with a silly grin. Actually, as I usually look like that, now I have justification!

It's probably 6 years since I had an eye test. :-/. Naughty man.

I'm with you on this too....I was wondering if its because I now wear contact lenses as I cant remember it being a problem pre lenses, trouble is I cant check if it is......without them I cant see a thing!

That's what the optician told me (you can go off people you know!!) Now I have to wear glasses for night driving and will be seeing if I can get some contact lenses. Yuuch, getting older sucks!

No contact lens make it better  night riding with glasses is when it becomes a real pain. Glare from headlights on both your visor and then your glasses means you can't see anything

Yes, you ARE naughty. I have an eye test every 2 years even though the optician said I only need one every 3.

I enjoyed my ride home, especially the bit down the road to Laughton :)
