What's pi$$ed me off today.........!!

    This happened Friday but I dropped my bike! :(

    Jim & I pulled into the car park at the Bovington Tank Museum, Jim parked up & I slowly rode round to back in next to him, forgot this bike won`t move on tick over like the old one did & stalled the bike while on full right lock. I stuck my leg out to try to save it but with the weight of the bike + all the camping gear & Sue still on the back I knew it was going down so turned into a damage limitation exercise & let the bike slide down my leg.

    Luckily no-one was hurt although Sue did clonk her head a bit. Result is I`ve gotta replace Sues helmet & the paint is scuffed on the R/H pannier & a some scratches on the R/H fairing & mirror. Nothing else damaged but I`ve now got to get it touched up :(

    Sorry to hear of Tom's bike, lammy's lid, Pauls bike and Sue's lid (bit of a theme going on here!!) but pleased no damage to you guys and I'm sure you've all had a great time away.

    Yeah, Tom & Leila must be telepathically twinned with us ;) Apart from the "miss hap" was a great weekend.


    Yeah both fine mate. Nothing a few quid can`t sort out. We were looking at replacing Sues helmet anyway so its just moved things a bit closer now.

    whats the fooks up with you lot if your going to crash do it properly not a scratch and replace lid job your letting the forum down badly;)

    It just adds to the adventure :) worst case is i have to sit in a van on the way back. Gutting being less than an hour from the black forest though. But limping it through the switch backs was fun and scary. Still left the cars for dead :)
