    HELP!!

So I'm gonna upgrade to a GSXR600. But I find whenever I am in the 'sportsbike' riding position that my line of vision is obscured by my helmet. I find that I have to push it up near the chin to be able to have a clear line of sight otherwise I am looking only a metre in front of me!

Is it technique cause I'm not familiar in riding a sports bike? Or is it a strange helmet for my head?

I've always had sore ears and frustration of line of sight when riding but figured it was just the top edge of my sunnies.

Hubby is lending me his blade next weekend to see how I feel with the sports bike riding position so I guess I can judge then, but any advice or help??

Could it be lack of neck movement/flexibility? I guess you could compare helmet apertures with another or (can't remember) if you have a short neck, so the back of the hat is sitting too high, so pushing the front down when assuming the position. I think when you simulate the sort of head position used on a sports bike the head is tilted pretty much back as far it can go. There....not one innuendo or dirty reference & fairly sensible for me.

Try a Vision R helmet from Shark. Brilliant aperture, as my head shape / short neck tends for the front of helmet to sit lower down, sometime causing the top of the aperture to come into view when my head is down on some helmets. Shark in general fit me very well.

Just remember that different helmet manufacturers have different shell shapes too. Sue has been wearing a caberg trip up until now but we have just replaced that with a HJC as its a much lighter helmet & a much better fit due to having a different shell size depending on head size.
