Yeah I see those..cheers..Was keeping an eye on them...People are still bidding and already up to £230 so will probably go for more...and with £31 postage they will prob go for over £300....

was really hoping to pay half that (just the rims) but am i being unrealistic?

I just find it difficult to find any and the ones i do find are like £400 - £700 to even more.....crazy

I think you've answered your own question Neil 'I just find it difficult to find any'....demand is there but by your account no supply therefore high prices...you may be lucky though.

Arms and legs being cut off, people taking their eyes out? For heavens sake they're only wheels!

OK think I have managed to agree a price on a set (bit more than I wanted to pay but at least it is done)

Is there anything I need to look at when buying them other than the obvious signs of abuse.

Any good quick easy tips to check straightness?

    Cheers

If the bearings are still in the wheels, take spindles with you and ideally clamp one end in a vice while you spin the wheel. Otherwise hold both ends of spindle while you spin it.

Cool...picked up black R6 5SL wheels in good condition with all three brake discs and renthal sprockets with rubber spacer thingys and tyre used once for £275..

More than I originally wanted to pay but upon researching on the web I think it was a good deal..

    Happy days.
Let's hope i never need to use them as every single track day will always be dry and sunny :rubhands:
