    I have finally acceped that I can no longer stay in the house I have lived in for 19 years. I was hoping to do some house tidying up during the autumn/winter and sell in the spring, but I have absolutely no money and need to sell as soon as possible. There is a small window for selling in October/November and then little chance until the Spring.
    I am planning on renting a mobile home or small place as soon as this place is sold, but I will still need somewhere to store my junk until I buy another place. I have no money until I sell the house , so I am asking for various bits of help;
    1/ Somewhere cheap(free) and secure to store my machinery and motorcycle bits and bobs
    2/ Help tidying up my outside areas and filling a skip with hardcore and rubbish
    3/ Help/advice on doing a small amount of pointing on my south gable end wall.
    4/ Help/advice on doing a small area of decking at the front of the house.

    The payback once the house is sold will be a party/meal/barby at my place and my undying gratitude.

    Please resist the temptaion to fill this thread up with piss taking and unhelpful comments. I'm afraid my sense of humour and resilience to people having a laugh at my expense is at an all time low.:(

    I am sure that I along with others on here can 'donate' a day on a weekend to assist with any 'humping' around of things. Unfortunately I have no space to store anythnig and will be tied up for the next weekend or two moving and settling my mother inlaw in to her new place. After that if you want to arrnage something let me know.

    I'd say you can use the garage for storage but recent events would seem to indicate that's not a great idea.
    If there's anything you can think of I can help with, just ask.

    Thanks for all the offers so far guys. I need to find room to store my lathe and other machinery first. I have my trailer and engine lift to help move the lathe. If I can shift the big stuff first and hopefully fit the small stuff around it.
    I can order the skip and keep it for two weeks before pick up. I assume most people could turn up at the weekend, ideally with a wheelbarrow. Can I suggest the first 3 weekends in October and you could say which you would be available for? Once I order the skip anyone can just turn up and help shift the rubbish into it. The biggest amount is around a ton of mortar that used to be under the patio steps. The rest is lighter.
    Once again I really appreciate any and all help.

    I'm a Very Likely for the 5th and/or 6th of October. Also 12th and 13th, although I'll have returned from a road trip late on the 11th (so will be knackered, mentally and physically). I can't believe there will be anything left to do on the 19th or 20th, but at this stage, anyway, I'll be happy to pitch in then too.
