    Hi guys
I am off on holiday at the moment and was going to head out on the bike on Friday 4th for the day if anyone wants to meet up. Not sure yet where I am heading out to as I haven't really got anything planned. Was just going to see where the wind takes me.
I'm heading out from Hastings, but I am happy to meet up anywhere around if anyone wants to ride-out somewhere or knows some good scenic routes to travel.
I'm more of leisurely rider rather than a burn up through the lanes sort of rider so a relaxed pace is what I am after.

    Cheers

I'm not really bothered where abouts we head out to, I don't have any time or distance agenda. I am fairly new to biking routes around the area so I am happy to follow people.

Thats fine with me. I am quite happy to ride out any route as long as there is a stop for coffee and something to eat I am easily pleased lol. As I said I am more of a leisurly, enjoy the scenery and the ride sort of biker now days so a good ride and good company is fine with me.

Yeah I've been up there recently. I loved the views from up there.

Go along the coast road up there? Down to Rye, Dungeness, through the bends and along through Hythe and Folkestone?

id avoid Dungeness too .... the roads there are horrible. as alan suggested depending on which direction you go from rye , head crosscountry across the marsh up towards lympne

Not done round that way before. I have always headed out via Dungeness and up that way. Usually because I have either stopped there for a coffee or met someone else out there. As I said I am happy to follow and learn some new routes.
Would also be great to meet up with you Deano and anyone else :)

One thing I will ask is don't make it too twisty. My bike isn't the best handling bike in the world and I will be scrubbing in a new back tyre as well so won't be chucking it too much through bends lol
