    Just over 2 weeks since my op and all healed. Discharged from weekly visits to St Thomas' Hospital which are normally required for 4-6 weeks!!! :D

    Next stop the audiologist for fitting of my new "ear".

    About an hour ago I got the last bolt fitted after taking out the engine of the fireblade again and putting in a replacement gearbox.

    No noise in fourth, much smoother changes. Hopefully the last time the engine come out as I hate doing it, but the end result has made me smile!!

    Took the blade out for a proper ride today. Happy happy happy. Goes through all gears beautifully, can barely feel it engaging first gear from a stop, in fact it drops in to all gears so easily.

    Loads of effort, two engine drops, splitting the cases twice but got there in the end. Keeper for life this bike I think:disco:

    Bumping into Tom in Tesco's. Time we finished chatting i had to take my frozen fish back to the freezer for replacement as it had nearly thawed out.

    He only had sweets in his basket. Said he was stocking up for Halloween. I didn't ask what the duct tape and washing line rope was for???? ;)

    Getting the registration forms for my charity parachute jump in February next year! Need to complete and return them and then wait for final acceptance then I will be asking you all to dig deep once again :)
