Actually yesterday but my 11:00 start from a site in Oldham should have seen me home by 16:00 latest. Instead crashes, 'Incidents', roadworks (there's a misnomer for you - not a worker in sight anywhere) and plain weight of pee'd off drivers diverted from elsewhere conspired to make it a nine hour marathon. At least the project was starting well since rain didn't have to stop play.

My cheap plastic watch said it was water resistant to 30 meters. It still broke even though the washing machine was at ground level. :(

Luckily for me my dog is water resistant :D He went missing yesterday before i got home from work and i found him struggling to swim in the fast flowing stream after about 30 mins of searching where he had been trapped  But he didn't like the tumble dryer :whistle:

    Bunch of useless f##kwits

There are trying to dispute my R6 claim based on different timestamps on the pictures  Could that be because they are taken on three different cameras ? I have pictures from once I got home showing as happening before and even pictures from a track day at lydden showing as happening at the same time. I don't worry about setting time and date things, I even think a few of my videos are date stamped 2048 which I guess means they haven't happened yet. :bhead::bhead::bhead::bhead::bhead:

I had heard stories that MCE look for any excuse to wriggle out of things but that is taking the pi$$. And yet again it was me chasing them to find outs whats going on.

Still on the plus side I have just sent them an email which breaks it down in black and white for them. Pictures from the tunnel with no damage and now they have a bike with damage all the while it has been insured with them so lets see if the Sherlock Holmes style people there are able to work that out.

But seriously if any of you are insured with them you may as well wipe your arse with the policy because it's a pile of :poop::poop::poop::poop::poop::poop::poop::poop::poop::poop::poop:

You can get free software that can load the images and read the EXIF data. This will tell you what make of camera took the shot and the settings used. Normally this is used with DSLR cameras for those that want to get the f-stop and exposure length etc but will be useful in this case in proving that the images were indeed taken on different cameras.

I might have the software on my laptop, if I have I can send it to you. It is only a few meg in size so hopefully I could even email it to you.

These bloody insurance crooks will do whatever than can scheme up to avoid paying legitimate claims.

Thanks but shouldn't be needed. I have my pictures, leilas pictures and have told them that the garage that re-sprayed the bike and a second garage that serviced the bike just before the trip will all give statements to it's condition. Then they can contact the garage in Germany. They are just trying to get out of paying out. Pr1cks

Whatever the outcome, it's worth a letter to Bike, Ride and MCN ...and Which if you are a member. If you were the sort of customer who makes 3 claims a year and is obviously on the take, I could understand their reluctance to pay up. But this is not improving your 'customer experience' and removes whatever peace of mind you were supposed to have, believing that your caring, sharing insurer was right behind you. If the garages which effected the repair or recovered the bike can be bothered to confirm the extent of the damage, you have 'em on toast.

Think someone attempted to steal Mr fluff today...just let him out of the house when I went to the shed. Heard him barking and came round to the front. A lady was there saying she just put him back behind the gates as he was running around on the street.

As I couldn't see him for a minute, I thought maybe some courier had left the side gate open. I said thank you went to check the side gate and is was closed....and the lady had gone...

Might have thought differently if he'd been in the garden for a while...but a minute.....?

could be, they do like stealing dogs around here. Best to get a cctv camera set up. If you are lucky it was just someone returning him like Leila did last sunday when a dog was out on the road but if it was an attempt then they often come back. Hence the CCTV and then a bloody big gun

Richard, I cannot work out how you managed your detour but my goodness it did make me smile as I drove past the blueboys today whilst trying to work it out :)

In order to make it more realistic, it should have been dark, one of your headlights should have been not working and the other one should have been caked in mud. Plus you should have been thinking about tonight's work load.

Does that make it a little clearer?

that's a nasty dent you really need to get a gun. even just a 308 will be fine for most of Essex finest.

Or a crossbow but I would recommend poison tips for better effect.

That is crap, however, I have had worse dents removed by paint less dent removal experts. Still having to lay out money but if this was a hit and run, I.e. you are not able to claim off anyone then probably for £150 you can get it sorted. Feel for you mate

Being silver and right next to the door shut it may not be possible to make a totally invisible repair but would be 95% better than how it is.

It was parked next to the footpath that leads to my house, my guessing is that one of the drunken luddites that pass by occasionally had a lapse in cognition and forgot how to walk while passing it.
I've got to ring a couple of places about the repair, will get the stone chips done at the same time ideally too.
I was half tempted to pop the interior panel off and give it a nudge but it's a bit more contoured than the mini :p
