Ok guys and girls and jim :p

Im debating on something... have been for a while now, i want to start a project bike.
Something knackered and fix her up to what i want, question is ... what do i want?

I know i want it 125cc ( yes im aware im taking my test soon but i shall explain) the reason being is that once its done up my missus can have a play when she like too and she has no desire for a bigger bike so 125cc is the limit... but what bike ? ive always faniced attemping to create a bobber ... perhaps thats a good place to start ?

Suggestions / offers are wanted here peeps :) and im not adverse to taking anything u may have knocking about in return for computer help (ill draw the line at grabbing my ankles tho :p )

Thanks guys and girls :) :ron1:

ive had this advise from a mate that builds bikes ... so that was my aim, im thinking along the lines of buying a cruiser to start and bobbing that... i dunno just something compelling me to bob something and the missus says no to her hair so i guess a bikes the way forward haha

A Yammie sr125 cracking little bike.....many possibilities. A Marauder is the expected route. An sr would be more unusual. I believe you will find them for a lot less dosh too.

like megawatt says stay away from Chinese bike i had the skyjet 125-23 (honda cbr look alike (and that was it the look)) all be it i just bought for a learner bike before i got my test done and i have to say it was 15 month old bike when i bought it and had no problems with the running engine it was other stuff broken weld on exhaust pipe right at the manifold end and the worst was a collapsed rear wheel bearing which knackered the wheel hub and parts are not easy to get BE WARNED!!!!! :poop::poop::poop::poop::nono::nono: lucky i only had for 3 months (thank god )
anyhow all the bike mentioned would be good to start with but how about a honda cg 125 very easy to work on parts are easy to get hold of there really very simple bikes but i guess it would down to taste are you after electric or kick start any how good luck with what you decide
