I have previously suggested a supplier of fleeces, T-shirts, rugby shirts, hoodies etc (son of my business partner) who can do the graphic design for us as well as import the finished articles. Until recently his entire livelihood was from sports clothing. http://www.koru-rugby.com I know there was significant concern that whoever organises this (read: pays for it) will get stuck with a bunch of stuff where people change their minds, fail to pay etc. In aggregate, it's not cheap. And although the prices you cite, Alan, aren't bad, I'm sure we would want decent quality rather than clothing you wash once and it goes out of shape or falls apart.

Perhaps we could organise a meeting one weekend to be attended by Mods and any others with sartorial concerns so that the purveyors of such threads could display their wares and let us choose what we'd like.

I only quoted one price Richard and I took samples to the Blueboys meet on Wednesday. Are you sugesting that I would buy poor quality clothing for the forum members? Most sites you go on you can't see the quality of the clothing. Workwear is normally good quality or it wouldn't be workwear.
SECB has been going for over two years now, it's about time we had some clothing I am sick of wearing my BANNED KSB polo to meets!!!

We are of one mind! I'll make enquiries as discussed and look forward to seeing your samples [ooh er, Vicar] on Saturday. :)

Bit worried about you mauling my samples Richard. Will I have to put some bromide in your tea?

I remember getting those polo shirts and fleeces for that BANNED SITE, it was bloody hard work Alan. i got the money up front before i placed the order too so then people couldnt really change their minds. i remember the balls ache of getting them to the post office too to get them sent. i also remember coming to rye and meeting with someone but i cant think for the life of me who that was. i think the biggest thing of all was being accused of stealing money from that forum by its owner. you can t please all of the people because we all have different ideas of what we want but they are a great idea and you are right about workwear being a great choice
http://www.eazzee.co.uk/?gclid=CI7W9pKKqLsCFUbKtAodEzwADA. just had to google but this was the company that i used before. if your polo shirt is still going then obviously they were good quality so might pay to use them again???

if this plan comes to fruitition REMEMBER, you will need to add on at least £2 each for any that have to be posted ... R1 Jay dipped out quite a bit when he done this before ,, (We do still have our fleeces too- but could never bring myself to wear since we disbanded)
but they were bloody good quality and logo was dine well too
