Bike Nites In Hastings

    Hi Guys
    Myself and a friend have recently taken over the Hastings Bike Nites (albeit under a different name) as the guy that was running it last year isn't able to do it this year and after speaking to many bikers, we felt that we wanted to carry on the idea.

    All things need to be finalised but I can confirm it will be on a Thursday night as per last year, but with a slight difference.

    There will be more details to follow as and when things get sorted out.

    It would be nice for a local bike night to be run by local bikers not out to make a profit while pretending to be in it for the people so good luck with it Zed.

    Totally agree with you Guzzi and Thanks Hornet.
    The plan is to have it as a ride-out, not to have stands etc there. Just a night for bikers to meet up and chat.

    As we finalise details I will let you know.

    well no worries if you need a helping hand i am sure we can do something. we all like a good night out on the bikes and helping to keep one going is cool with us.

    Hi Guys
    Got some more details for you. We've been working our little butts off recently and things are coming together nicely.

    We are doing the night on the second Thursday of each month with the first one on May 8th, then June 12th, July 10th, August 14th and Sept 11th.

    We are meeting up at the Stade car park in Hastings from 6:15 pm onwards, with the ride-out at 7pm taking in a different route each month out to the 1066 which have totally come on board with the idea and have agreed to stay open until 10pm for us on the nights.

    We have decided to support a different charity each month with buckets going round for people to chuck in loose change if they want with all money raised going to the charity of the night.

    We will have a couple of stalls there, but this will only be things like Armed Forces Bikers and hopefully Bike Safe and Biker Down. Nothing like the stalls that were there before. We also won't be asking for 18k from the café to run our nights out there as I found out the other day lol.

    As we get some more info I'll pass it on to you.

    Hi Guys
    We've got a ride-out route now for the May 8th ride-out. Meeting at the Stade car park, Hastings from 6:15 onwards for a 7pm leaving time, the plan is to head out to Bexhill, round past the De La Warr and on to Cooden/Little Common. Across to Catsfield and Powdermill lane, through Battle and out the 1066.

    i would most likely head straight to the cafe due to timescale but then i used to bypass the ride to Hastings and go my own way anyway
