Myself, Beelady, Accessengineer and Phil Read went to Lydden Hill circuit for the classic motorcycle race club meet.

I took a few photos and a selection are below. They are not in the order that they were taken
due to photobucket being crap but there are some lovely 2T bikes there, plus a few of the bikes
I saw while walking around the circuit.

It was bloody great!!! My fave was bike 27 the RG500, just sounded sublime and was friggin quick, also a bit biased as I adore RG500s. Nothing like the classics giving it the beans and the heavy aroma of Castrol R.

In fact, I didn't want to go home and when I left Emma and John around J10 of the M20, I took the A20 home but then just took detour after detour and was ringing the TZRs neck at times:whoo:
When I put the bike back in the garage, it had gained 125 miles and the air was heavy with the smell of a very hot 2T bike slowly ticking away as it started cooling.

That bike was just epic on the ride home

It was a really good day. Hot and sunny, but a nice breeze to keep the worst of the heat down. If only you could find a way to get the noise and the smell of it on here. Some of the racing was really competative. They weren't there just for show.
Fun ride home, too and then time to sit and watch the GP as well. What more could you want.
    Great pictures, Paul.
