After a fantastic weekend riding around the cheddar gorge and many other places that I had no clue where I was at the weekend with the SEC guys but sweating my wotsits off in my leathers I decided to order a pair of biking jeans on Monday night and by the powers of fleabay they arrived today :) just hope they fit!

Oh and thanks Darkzy glad to have been of service :)

Try The Biker Store over at Blindley Heath. They have a pretty good selection & have been exceptionally helpful every time I`ve been up there. Good selection & you have the luxury of trying them on too :)

Thanks guys I think (due to my little legs) I need to try some on as the ones I ordered were good value at £30 but I could just about fit both of my legs into one!

Made the wife laugh anyway :)

must admit was much cooler in my jeans, but the downside was that I felt the heat coming from rad/engine when in traffic one hell of a lot more than in my leathers .. plus they dry quicker than leathers when caught in a biblical deluge ;)

having still not completed my pans works to improve the little niggles, i took in ANOTHER pan......storey is as follows ..im in a local bike store chatting and a guy approaches and intorduces himself as a policeman who owns a Pan but has silencer issues , i in turn state i have a set of motad cans lying around and he bids me for them ...i accept....he then asks if i would help him fit them as he has no facilitys to do so...hey im a biker ...of course ill help a fellow family member. we set a date and on said date i await his arrival....hmmm hes late....phone rings its a mate of his on his phone to tell me he wont be coming as he is in pembury A&E after being taken off a demo ride triumph rocket on a local roundabout by a car turning right from the outside lane. [IMG] blimey ...hope is ok and state if i can do anything to help to holla ...a few days later he calls and after a chat asks would i mind collecting his pan from the dealers from where he was riding the rocket...no problem then we decide it would be a good idea to go and investigate the scene of his accident and whilst there ....no word of a lie ...it happened again between 2 cars ...and the victim was .....another policeman ...my new friend can drive but cant ride due to tissue damage to his wrist, so he collects me and we go get his pan from the dealers where he demo'd the rocket from. get it back to my house and start swapping out the end cans to find the collector is swiss cheese and has been bodged sometime before this guy got it, so new down pipes and collector ordered and after looking at mine he was induced into a make over on his ...including full plastics respray by a proffesional , but he asked if id help him do all the other bits , fork legs , heel plates, frame touch up blah blah blah...and so ...i now have a second Pan st1100 in the garage ...i must need my head testing [IMG]
in addition to that ive just shelled out a few sheckles for a new leather seat cover, braided front and rear brake lines , brake caliper seals all round, braided clutch line and a new front tyre on order. look like im gonna be a busy bunny for a bit.

Someone may need to (1) collect him from Pembury A&E and (2) take him somewhere where they will X-Ray him to see if he has any broken bones. I jest not :-(

Thinking about me riding 50 odd miles on all twisties, with my full top box lid open, and nothing falling out, that's the difference of this country and Luxemburg ohh and Sky hook I guess :)
