I do not post on here anymore for reasons some of you are aware of. However, given the nature of this post, I hope that you will accept this post for the right reasons as I am posting on behalf of what I consider a worthwhile cause.

Some of you may now that my firm sponsors Talan Tacing.

Talan Skeels Piggins is the only paraplegic racer in the UK who holds a full UK competition licence and is allowed to race against able bodied riders.

He is currently racing an adapted SV650 in the Thundersport series and at Brands at the weekend he finished 13th out of 34 starters. Not bad for someone who has to rely on upper body strength only [IMG]

Anyway, he is currently beng filmed for a documentary to try and spread the word about what can be achieved despite major handicaps.

The documentary is being produced by someone doing it in their spare time at no cost, but their are costs to be incurred for example editing, voice overs and so on.

More information is available at https://www.indiegogo.com/projects/t...ng-documentary

I am posting this just to make people aware, and hope that some of you feel as I do that this project is worth sponsoring so that the message can be put across to a wider audience.

Whether it is £3 or £5 (or more if you are feeling generous) every little helps.

I hope like me you feel that this is something worth donating a few quid to.

Lammy had a good chat with Talan just the other day at bsb and we saw him out racing at brands on Saturday just gone.
    Good luck with everything.

Definitely a worthy cause and a really nice guy. Was brilliant watching him start from pit lane for each race and then work his way through the grid. He is instrumental in paving the way for others in similar circumstances to now be able to participate in racing. We have Danny Campion and True Heroes amongst others, however he has now enabled those to race who can't start a race from the grid.

He is in the process of developing a launch system with the help of a Formula 1 team at the moment so that he can start the race from his qualifiying position, and next year the team will have 3 riders, all paraplegics.

I am very proud to be associated with Talan and the team, a real inspiration and certainly puts my own disability into perspective

Saw him race on Sunday and was amazed. All the people in our group were rooting for him. He did very well:disco:

That's the true heros team. They can start form the grid. This guy has to start from pit lane as he can't hold the bike up himself so has had to get the rules changed to allow that. All of them are pretty impressive

Talan does not start from the pit lane, he starts from the back of the grid as he needs someone to hold the bike up once his feet are strapped onto the pegs.

The new stabalisers should allow him next season to start from whatever position he qualifies, and the team will hve 2 more paralegic riders next year so it will be a 3 man team
