Nothing to do with me but it sounds good, I'm going - anyone else fancy it?

If I don't get to Mallory Park for the sidecar bonanza then this could be a good alternative (and a hell of a lot closer!)

Hey, come and find me - I'd love to talk about the Bobber with you. I'm on a white Triumph Tiger and I'll be there with my mate on a blue one.

Having realised I am supposed to be cooking family dinner I doubt I will be off to Mallory. So - I shall probably come to this instead. Will hopefully get around to posting up a rideout to it that takes less direct "scenic" route :D

Not sure yet tbh, my CB is a lovely machine and handles great but the ride position is still putting strain on my lower joints, trying to find a decent machine where my feet are in line with my knees or as close as possible is not easy. :(

Over the last 3 months I have test ridden Honda Pan, Yamaha FJR, Triumph Tiger and Ducati Multistrada as these are the top rated machines for touring comfort and utility, all that is left in my mind are the BMW's which I have arranged test rides on the 1200GS Adventure and also on the 1200RT but to be very honest I have ridden a friends 2012 RT and find it ridiculously comfortable, if the new RT is as comfortable as his then I suspect I may be buying a new toy to extend my riding years as it most certainly feels the best choice so far. BMW also appears to offer the best value for money in terms of equipment, resale value, aftersales service and generally just the best bang for your buck. :)

Apologies for Hi-Jacking your thread Lightweight.

Will be heading that way but plan to do a bit of a cross-country "round the houses" route there from Battle so probably won't arrive till middayish. Will post up in rideout section.
