Not gonna be out today, just started raining where I live and I don't fancy getting wet plus my tyres are not too great for wet riding. Hopefully next time.

We had a great day today. Lots of sight-seeing interspersed with usual roads plus some not ridden before (magical mystery tour). Charlie Bear did lose a boot somewhere between Bodiam and Herstmonceaux - poor chap! Despite a damp start the sun did eventually come out.
Cheers everyone for keeping us company. Charlie definitely enjoyed himself! Lol.
Here he is, enjoying a full English, seeing a castle and hanging out with some of the gang

I am glad the weather stayed good for the bear, shame about his boot though, they were V smart, do you have much time to get him fitted with a new pair before he has to be on his way?

Sadly not. Heading out in the morning for Weymouth. May pop into Loomies en route (around 1ish). Hopefully can persuade the next rider to see if she can find him some!

So Charlie is off to Weymouth today. Fingers crossed we get there in one piece in this weather!! As for his boot, apparently he was on his third pair lol.
Looking forward to checking out JimG's new pad :)

We're meeting the next people to take Charlie in the Lodmoor Pub, Weymouth at approx. 3pm. (Depending on how the ride goes). Will try an update our progress on here. Maybe see you there @Patyogi

We got very wet and arrived much later than planned. However Charlie was safely handed over and now we're chilling with Mr and Mrs G :)

An action packed ride. Fighting the wind and rain.
I managed to get soaked before getting my waterproofs on. Then promptly rode straight through a very deep and muddy puddle that soaked my feet.

As lammy's satnav died we had to adapt my car one which is not waterproof. That made things more interesting :)

But true to form lammy showed why bikers are the best. Having filtered on a duel carriage way for a couple of miles. We got to the front and found a broken down car blocking lane one. We helped push the car away while all the cagers just tried to force their way passed.
