Sinking a few beers and getting outside an excellent curry last night; the ambiance was a mixture of Lancastrian and filmic Tarantino. So distracting was it that I actually managed to forget my daily travails for a few hours. It has meant that I have now been asked by two potential customers whether I'm ok today: apparently I now sound so bright and disgustingly bouncy that one has determined to call me 'Tigger'.

Not sure how I feel about that..! Blame Mega... :D

Nope. Not yet. 'Is Meganess took pity on my permanent state of sobriety and lured me with promises of curried heaven and beery Nirvana. The DVD was an unexpected bonus even if the girls all spoke Texan and most were killed. We were chaperoned by Stunt Driver Bill from Bolton. Interesting chap...

Great to have you over for curry, beer and Death Proof ,Richard.. The ladies in the film were rather lovely, as were the cars and soundtrack. Bill really enjoyed your company, as did I. The beer is still going down rather well. Bill off home at 2300 hours after a very long day shredding trees.

well having had my main beam fail on the R6 on Wednesday night leaving me to ride on just dipped beam I decided to have a look at it today.

Took the switch off to find a spider living in there so blamed him for it. Evicted the little guy and cleaned up the inside of the switch. Checked it and nope still not working :( put the whole switch back together and still no luck. so I went to read the manual on returning to the bike everything worked :D:D:D Those little Gremlins must have snuck in and fixed it while I was reading

also managed to get to Aldi and buy new boots, gloves and tank bag for £62.00  bargain.

Some people showed an interest in a day trip to France and some time ago I posted an event on the 1066 site for it to happen on 19/4/2015. Due to unforeseen circumstances I will not be able to do this date but will try to arrange another day. Hopefully I will upload details of the route on a PDF when I have worked out how to do it.

Following some advice from Lammy and cleaning , then re greasing the linkage on the R6 has improved the handling no end :D I have been fighting it into corners the last few rides and running wide or tucking in whenever trying to push on but giving it a good spray up has helped no end. No just to get used to it again
