    Several things made me smile.
New pool for the kids in the summer and a new rear tyre for the blade (still waiting for the front tyre though ).

And this, my beloved TZR250. Hasn't turned a wheel for a good while so decided to give it a 25 mile run. It definitely needed it as it needed to clear its throat so to speak but once it had got a sound thrashing it was behaving itself perfectly - god I love this bike :whoo:

New front tyre arrived today so I now have two new tyres for the blade :whoo:

However, the mot ran out yesterday and I can't get the tyres fitted or the bike mot'd until next week :boohoo:

So, I am forced to use the TZR250 this weekend :whoo:

It was good to see the TZR out today. It may be small but it had no trouble keeping up and it sounded brilliant. I see it was attracting attention at Wesson's, too.

It was bl@@dy epic! Brain still scrambled. Never pillioned before; never been on a big bike before, never been on those roads before (I don't think). I cannot believe we went as quickly as RW said, but we covered a lot of ground in not many minutes...

Do other pillionaires find low speed manoeuvring petrifying yet 30mph upwards to DeeDahDeeDah mph feels fine?

Gotta get a bike. Gotta get a bike... Son has now offered to lend me his. What a nice chap. Must have been well brought up! Just have to arrange insurance...

Major thanks to RW for his bravery and generosity in taking me out. T'was breathtaking. :)

    This made me smile.
Decided to not do the mayday run as done it for the last few years so met Beelady and Accessengineer at the blue and white and after scoffing breakfast we went off on a very windy route.

It was probably one of the best rides I have had in years. Just bloody epic. Fast, flowing, little traffic just brilliant.

Was on the TZR again as the blade is not being sorted until later this week. The bike was beyond brilliant. I just cannot describe what a superb machine it is.

Between Saturday and today it has added 360 miles to the speedo. Many of them being given a fair amount of abuse and it just shrugs it off. The bike is at its best when being pushed hard, it just comes alive and feels part of you. The noise out of the spannys as it is being whipped through the revs is intoxicating. All I need now is another RG500 and I will have my three perfect bikes.

It earned every one of those flies it splattered!!

Those RD's certainly were good to look at. I bet they don't get the thrashing the TZR does, though :)

Got a date booked in for the blades new tyres to be fitted and the MOT. Missed riding it a little so it will be ready for the weekend after this.

I might, just might consider cleaning it as well!!

Yeah it was RoadSkill but I was pretty focused on track day tester. Had 2 hairy moments so backed off a bit later on but still I liked it a lot. Now how could I negotiate a track bike w/ my mrs.
