Having been forced by the weather to cancel my ride this morning I'm going out tomorrow instead. It's going to be :sun1:all day so should be more successful. As I said before, I'm not one for riding with lots of other people so, as I live VERY close to the start point of The Mayday Run and the 7Diner is VERY close to the route, a change of meet point is necessary.

Meet at The Oakdene Cafe, London Road, Wrotham, Sevenoaks, Kent TN15 7RR.
Cafe opens at 0700 if you fancy/need brekkie
    Depart 0900
Return about 1400 in time to go out with my wife (me not you )
All welcome, but post here if you are interested.

We'll probably end up at The Airport Cafe, Main Rd, Sellindge, TN25 6DA around 1100.

    Sounds good Jimbo

I take it we'll meet in the lay-by opposite rather than go in the carpark which is full of mud/stones/pot holes etc?

See you in the lay-by opposite for 9 depart.

I know you're partial to the 7Diner breakfast Brett, but were you meeting us just for that or thinking of coming on the ride? You'd be very welcome to tag along and only a bit further to The Oakdene!

It was thick cloud here earlier, but it seems to be breaking up now. As long as it remains dry eh?
    See you soon guys.

Yes, weather brightened considerably as the morning progressed, as did my mood .
Good to see Napa121, Johnny Bravo, Tomasbe and JohnA, thanks for your company.

My personal tracker wasn't with us today so route cannot be displayed, but I thought it was quite good.
Quite a mix of roads, some of which I haven't been down before. 145 miles for me and now knackered.
Sorry about the indecision a couple of times, but I really do make it up as I go along.

I'm very impressed with The Airport Cafe. Very efficient service and good value. Delicious too :eat:.

It was really good to see Pete (Carnage) & Jen at the Oakdene, we've still got a bit of catching up to do, so hopefully see you again soon. It's been toooooooooo loooooooong!:(

Nice to meet all you guys again - Neil, John, Thomas and Jim. Good route (as always) and the weather wasn't too shabby either. The airport cafe has speed of service fit for a JimBo ride, doesn't it..

Yes, that was a great ride. More so after yesterday's disappointment :rain:. Thanks Jimbo for picturesque route and Neil, JohnA and JohnnyB for good company. Bike feels better and better which brings me closer to maybe some track day. Me think

Thanks Jimbo, but I did go up to the 7 Diner, waited 10 mins before seated, but they gave me free coffee, on top of still the Best Breakfast, with 100's of bikes going past, for only when I left the road was closed due to an accident just down the hill, air ambulance and all was turning up :(
