Sun 14th Bbq At Esam, Boreham Street

    JW Groombridge are holding a test ride/promotion and BBQ at Reid Hall, Boreham Street (near Hertmonceux) between 10:00 and 16:00 tomorrow. This is where ESAM (East Sussex Advanced Motorcyclists) meet and have their Open Sunday where anybody is free to pop in for a cuppa and sarnie, speak to members and observers to see what it's all about. Very friendly bunch and highly recommended - even if you have no interest in advanced riding. There'll be plenty of bikes to drool over and lots of people to chat with, if you want to test ride one of Grabbers' bikes you'll need both parts of your driving licence and a payment method that would cover a £500 insurance excess in case the worst was to happen.

    Shame it looks like I am stuck in London tomorrow as I quite fancy some test rides. Do they know that as of last week the paper part of the licence became defunked.
