    managed my longest ride since my lay up, today - 150 miles with a 30 min break inbetween to see the physio .. took a somewhat vague route up to east Grinstead and back .. was great but muscles are aching already so def gonna need to get out some more I think ;)

    Nice jacket.

    Treated myself to a new riding boots. I think at 31 years old, my current riding boots won`t last much longer.

    Obviously, I bought a pair & not just 1 before some smart @rse comments :)

    That'll be the next thing, some big boots that cover the shins and calf as well. Nice looking boots though mate :D

    I don`t care what they look like, as I`ll be looking forwards, not down ;)

    They are comfy though. Once back has settled some more, I`ll try them out on the bike :)

    Recent Trip 3 nights to Strassbourg using Nationwide Credit Card, no commission, exchange rate changed constantly but highest was 1.413 euros to pound :) way higher than cash exchange rates over here, every transaction was at least .2 to .3 better on the CC, well worth getting the card for over seas trips

    When u travel abroad, the POS terminal should give you the option of local currency or Home. Usually the retailers just click local. You should be asking them to click Home. You then don't get Fx fees.

    Alternatively what I have is a Money Corp Card. It is not a CC perse, You choose when to preload currencies at what FX rates. You can load lots of different currencies, depending on where you travel and it always uses that currency. the Card can be about 10% better on the FX than cash. You can also draw cash from ATM's abroad at no extra cost either.

    An old friend (and also my accountant when I was self employed) who raced bikes many years ago just messaged me to say that both her and her husband will soon be back in the saddle and getting themselves bikes again! She has gone for an R6 and he is on the lookout for a fireblade apparently :)

    Super impressed with Motocard. I bought a new Givi Top box from them, approx £70 cheaper than any I had found in the UK and only paid £7 on top for taxes and free delivery. It has arrived, from Spain in just a week. Happy days :D

    No, lol, I wanted one that was bigger than the 33l as I can't get work and laptop into that one. Plus for travelling will make things a bit easier too.

    First me with Fleetwood Mac, now Pilbs with Assen? Sort yourself out woman! But as Shakespeare wrote;
    "Beware, my Lord, of jealousy. 'Tis the green eyed monster which doth mock the meat it feeds on"
