Turned out really good. Fabulous weather. Some spirited riding and great company, great banter and those roads on the Three Valleys Ride in Luxembourg and petrol @ 90p per litre.

Yes it was a good one wasn't it.... It has taken me a while to feel better as unfortunately I was ill 3rd day in but managed to not let it ruin what was a fantastic trip. Good Pace, nice weather (apart from one damp morning) and banter a plenty  A four day Jimbob ride is recommended :MC:

Some raw footage as I know Bob, Jim and Bravo want to see...

a couple of things. Covering 200 plus miles in a day on the bike. Spending the whole afternoon up in Essex at a BBQ enjoying some finely cooked meats :D

Then my spider senses still seem to be working. Out walking the dog this evening I passed a rather drunk woman struggling to walk home and carried on but about half way around the block I thought you know what she isn't going to make it home. Turned around and went back, just as I got her in sight she hit the deck with a bang you could hear from 30 plus yards. Laying right in the middle of an unlit road on a bend in a national speed limit. She had taken quite a whack to the head and was bleeding rather well so it ended up being a 999 job but at 10.15 at night had I not turned around then no one else would have walked that way till the morning.

my mum's friend fell in the road after dark one night. my mum is in her 80's and couldn't lift her. she managed to slow several cars, avoiding a worse accident but none actually stopped, just drove round and carried on. but the first biker that appeared was a proper hero, helped them both to safety and made sure they were able to get home before he left. my mum has never forgotten how relieved and grateful they both felt.

hopefully your rescue will be thought of kindly. i think you're a proper hero. well done.

All packed and ready for trip to Spain tomorrow. Family reunion - family, extended family and friends from UK, Spain and Oz! Can't wait - although I have a feeling I may need a holiday after to recover from the mayhem that this one is bound to be :D
