My R6 mot expires tomorrow :-( and as I can't knee or bend very much the one little job I know it needs can't be done.
Just have to hope that maybe it will repair itself before I go :)

It's only the rear brake light from the foot brake. Should be simple but I will see if the guys at the garage can do it at the time of moting :)

If not I might give you a shout. I might need a few more things doing yet :hah:

An £8 bill for a tyre valve! because it was 16:00 and the only place nearby that was likely to have one was the local Triumph dealer!

When i had the rear tyre fitted last week, a new valve was put in the carrier thing in the wheel, and it seems that changing the valve and the carrier had been over tightened at some point in the past.

Typically my tyre fitted had every size of valve in his selection apart from one for my wheel! He was rather frustrated by this himself! however i cant fault his service or workmanship :) and he didn't charge me a penny to sort this issue out either!

I was looking forward to today. I was expecting to get one of my plasters taken off and the stitches taken out on the other hand and the new plaster put on. The thought of having even one hand back was so exciting.

And then I double checked the time of the appointment and realised I've got ahead of myself. It's not today. It's next Sunday.

So, as Acessengineer has earned a day for himself, out on his bike, I shall have to entertain myself by sitting on the garden bench and watching the rest of you having a good time on the Brenzett to Appledore road and wishing it was me. Watch out for tractors working. They're very busy hauling wheat trailers in and out, just as you approach the end of the 30 limit.

Being sick or at least, out of commission isn't any fun is it? You can do a lot of thinking, though. I find that doing all the usual (physical) tasks sometimes gets in the way of getting my head straight - you might want to take the opportunity to do the same..?

Er.., not that I mean your head isn't ... Um, you know what I mean, I hope :). Chin up!

bit of a pain the place I booked for the mot installed some new computer for them and it said no. Not no as in it failed but no as in it wouldn't even let them log in to test my bike.

Still the good news is I was able to strip part of the bike and try to get the brake light working and with the use of a zip tie it now does so should pass once the computer is fixed

Cook, clean, shop, work the washing machine, feed and water all the hens and ducks, do the beekeeping duties and when he has a spare hour or two he's decorating. All while not being very well himself. He's not kept up with the gardening but I don't want to kill him. Plus I want him to repair my bike if it's worth buying back. A day off was never more deserved.:)
