Sounds about right they try and knock you down without even seeing the bike, and then want to pay weekly.

Just been offered £750 via eBay now so it's going in the right direction at least! If I can get the 955 gone this weekend I might be able to pull the 1050 forward a few days! As it is now MOT'd

It happens to all of us and it's really annoying. I wouldn't expect to knock the price down so far if I was a buyer unless there was a good reason to offer less. It looks a good bike. Someone genuine will want it.

Did they give you a reason for the low offer or were they just trying their luck, hoping for a bargain?

I wish I had the money. I'd have a look myself as I think Accessengineer might enjoy riding that.

Nope I think they are just trying to get a bargain! And it's easier to haggle over the Internet than face to face, as you don't have to play your poker face.

I have really loved The few hundred miles I have done on it! It's not perfect but it is a 15 year old bike now, but it rides and pulls so smoothly it is untrue! And corners better than the ER6F I took my DAS on too!

If I wasn't in a rush to sell it, as i don't really have time to make space in the garage to keep it as well as the new one, I would hold off as I think it's worth every penny of £1000 and loads of people have told me that, particularly as I just spent £110 on a new rear tyre too!

I feel a little guilty selling it already having hardly used it, but the new one I found was just the right spec, right colour, in the right part of the UK and about the right price too so I couldn't not jump at it.

How many roofers does it take to replace a ridge tile? No bloody idea! Two different roofers have let me down, why can't they just be honest and tell me they don't want to do it instead of saying yep no problem I can do that! Pi$$es me off its not like I was expecting them to do it for nothing! Grrrrrrrrrrrrr

I was supposed to pick up my new 65 plate car today but at 4:45 was told someone had put a small scuff on the bumper so could I come and get it tomorrow!!

I know stuff happens but it has pee'd me off a tad.

Roll on tomorrow and hopefully a few more sweeteners from my VERY apologetic dealership.

Wessons last night! I have always enjoyed the short ride out to Wessons on a Thursday eve and a bite to eat with good company, but all seems to have changed. Not been for a couple of weeks, but went up there yesterday. I walked in and thought that's strange there were a load of tshirts in front of the menu, but I had taste for a burger so no problem I knew what I wanted. I got to the counter and asked for a cheeseburger and chips and was told "its Thursday night we only do specials" My immediate thought was I am being ripped off, with a drink that makes the minimum spend about a tenna! So my shocked reply was " the specials are twice the price I will just have the Coke thanks" His answer was "There is a burger on the specials" I just looked at him and said "I will stick with the Coke thanks" To my shock he came back with "If you are going to be like that I will do you a cheeseburger". I would have left then and there if I had been on my own, but I did not want to let the others down who I was with. The conclusion we all came to was we are being ripped off here now and it will be our last visit so off to 1066 next week and we will have to find another venue for our midweek ride outs for the rest of the month. is it too much to ask for Good food at a reasonable price with a friendly atmosphere?

No phone or broadband for a week, Sky coming tomorrow morning (between 8 and 1pm) to fix the issue so potentially no brekkie run on the bike :(

I'm sure Steve who owns Wessons would be grateful for whatever feedback you can give him: this doesn't sound typical to me (although I'm not a frequent visitor). There must have been lots of good things you can recall about the cafe which you can tell him to balance the less than optimal experience of last night.

Not sure the 1066 is much better as it's hit and miss if they open in the evening but worth a shot at least once
