70 miles on my new bike for the first time :D being that I didn't even test ride it they were my first miles on it and I don't ache to bad at all. No back, shoulder, neck or arm aches so just a little in the legs but that is better than when I drive the car so very happy with that :D

I always try to avoid driving the car. I am much more comfortable on my bike.

Another Wednesday off so another ride round. A bit blustery on the Marsh but everywhere else seemed fine. Can't believe how warm it is for December. Very happy with the new bike. I'm starting to feel a bit more confident on it. Must buy another sidestand extension. I'm more likely to fall off trying to put the stand down then riding it  I hope the money fairy comes calling at Christmas so I can treat myself soon.

enjoying a few miles on the bikes with friends, bumping into even more at Wesson's and then running into Slack PI in battle

Good to see Lammy back on the road and still one of the fastest wet weather riders going :D

Nothing to do with bikes, but after work I went shopping at one of those big supermarket things where most of the staff are far too busy to help anyone. There was a lady struggling to reach a product on the top shelf & I just happened along at the right time, so I reached up & got what she needed. She gave me such a nice smile & thanked me. Of course I smiled back, but i'm quite shy in front of women, so I blushed a deep red & wished her a nice Xmas & carried on looking for supper :red:

Damn! That could have been the rest of your life right there... Next week, go hang out by the biscuits incase she comes back. It'd be the very best Ice-breaker in the world!

    I doubt that i'd find Mrs.Right in a supermarket.

Unless they were carrying a crash helmet & were struggling with their shopping

But I would still blush deeply :red:

A nice ride round on dry roads with a great soundtrack to listen to (following a Harley and a Victory) and then Christmas dinner at the Blue and White with friends. I am stuffed and will probably never need to eat again. I'm sure my bike was trying harder on the way home. It's not used to the extra weight it was carrying :) It was a lovely meal. Always a good roast there but it was the best ever today.

I only agreed to have a pudding so you didn't feel self concious about being greedy. I was going to be good!

Not today but yesterday, seeing the smiles on the faces of two friends who I helped to move down to Brighton yesterday. Once the truck was unloaded & everything was up the stairs into their new flat, they looked so happy to be in at last & not a moment too soon before Xmas :kiss3:

Two things. One was on Sunday when my TZR250 fired up for the first time in months as I had to rebuild the top end and carbs as I blew the right hand cylinders base gasket - don't she sound gorgeous!!

And today, MOT pass with no advisories.

That's great news, Paul. I've missed Stinky. I think she's a cracking little bike. Looking forward to following you soon.

Next job: Save up for some tyres for that Fireblade!
