I'm looking into getting A two bike Moto lug trailer has anyone got any experience with this make.I have A Dave Cooper 2 plus 1 trailer which is OK for one big bike or two off roaders but now I need to carry two larger bikes, being that the Moto lug comes apart it wouldn't have to stay out side

When i was looking for a trailer I thought about the Motolug but they were so rude on the phone twice that i didn't want to give them my money so went to www.tridenttowing.co.uk instead. Happy enough with the purchase and the trailer is good quality although it does have to stay outside (galvanised steel so doesn't rust).

Get yourself a sticker number plate and you are welcome to borrow mine when you need it

I had a single bike one, which was more than fit for purpose, not sure I'd fancy the 2-bike one, which is the same trailer/running gear but with an extra ramp added, they used to do a 10" wheel upgrade, that might make it more suitable for a 2-biker

In general.. the electrics are very cheap and the connectors/bulbs vibrate free quite easily, tyres are expensive to replace, you have to buy a new wheel each time:mad:, smoother the thing in ACF50 and keep the wheel bearings well greased and they cope with winter fine

With the wheel chock, they are easy to load single handed, they only take a couple of minutes to build/dis-mantle

yes i would recommend using a bike chock with it...

I used a runner chock from www.bumpstop.co.uk which fit inside the runner so is an easy fit.

Been happy with mine so far...

    Couldn't do without a 3 bike trailer. It's a lot more balanced than a 2 bike option

The good thing with the two big motolug trailer is that when you want to take just one bike or converts into a one bike trailer

That's exactly what I thought so balance isn't A problem, and because it comes apart easily it takes up less space in the garage I just wondered if anyone had problems with one.

I have a 2 bike Motolug trailer with the 10" wheel upgrade that I've used maybe 2 or 3 times as I ended up buying a van very soon after getting the trailer. I found it very easy to put together and take apart, the bonus being when you're only towing one way to or from a destination the trailer can be carried in the boot (collapsed it fits easily in the back of a CRV) plus storage is no problem when not in use.
If you are still looking to get one let me know as I may sell mine as its not being used.
