Newlands Corner Parking Charges Petition

For anybody who enjoys the view from up at Newlands while having a snack can have your say

If they made it free for the first hour or so that would'nt be too bad as we don't tend to hang around there for too long anyway, before heading off somewhere else

 

I have emailed them to ask if the parking charge will apply to motorbikes - Will let you all know what they respond with.

For all bikers that enjoy going to Newlands, the powers that be have decided that bikers won't need to pay to park. I was up there the other day & they've put up notices saying what the charges will be for cars etc. On the same notice it specifically states bikers won't be expected to pay.

 

that's good - common sense at last - although the free 1st 1/2 hour would prob. have done me unless i'm talking to the vmcc guys who talk almost as much as me!!
