    A friend is getting back on the bike after a few years off so we are just going for a local bimble tomorrow. Meeting in front of Battle Abbey around 11 (in time for a quick hit of caffeine) with a view to leaving around 11.30, if anyone fancies joining us. Not sure which direction to head in yet but I am sure Wessons and Rye will be involved somewhere along the way.

    I don't know Battle so can you guide me to the front of battle abbey?

    If the Satnav can lead me there I'll see you guys for a bit of a ride....:tup:

    Either tbat or i can just meet you at Rye or Wessons if I know where you are heading to,,,

    If you head for the 1066, go past it, straight across at big roundabout to Battle. Left at mini-roundabout and ride through town then you will see the Abbey on the right with a tiled area in front of it that we stick the bikes on. You shouldn't be able to miss it.

    If you are unsure then I will be riding past the 1066 at around 10:30 so you can follow me. Need to know by 9:30 as I will be leaving home by then and will know to pull over at the 1066 otherwise I will just steam on to battle.

    Apart from the nail in my tyre :( it was a good day out indeed. Thanks to Rob for leading us around the country lanes. Great to have Mike back on the bike after an 8 year break too. Fab to see everyone as usual :ghug: (it's alright Brett, I won't make you have a hug. :slap:) :D

    Sorry I had to bail before we got started but my back just seemed to give out when I got to Battle. Just made it home before it went properly. Seems to be settling now I`ve got some strong PK s down my neck.

    Nice little ride back home from Rye as well with Paul....
