She's delusional!!!

 

Off to the Thunderbird Rally tomorrow. Bike washed, tyres, oil, everything checked. Another set of house sitters about to be installed. Looking forward to meeting up with some other Triumph owners and some friends from the MCN forum. Planning a ride to Staffordshire Triumph on Saturday to say thanks to the nice chap who found my bike for me, was willing to haggle, and had it delivered on time. Great service.
Maybe with all the miles I've done on the bike this month I can make an impression on my indestructible Conti Motions. I am longing for them to wear out so I can get Bridgestones on, but it's proving to be more of a challenge then I expected.

 

Are you about Lisa Lou when I get back from the Highlands. I should be back about 19th July and fancy a ride with you, visit some watering holes and talk deep rubbish?

 

Back safely and mostly in comfort. A wet weekend but still lots of fun with food, music, lots of lovely Triumph chat, meeting some new people and catching up with friends from all over the country. It was dry enough to go for a rideout with some of my friends from Yorkshire and we had lunch at the bikers café at Bridgenorth, which was busy so lots of bikes to see and talk about there as well. Just need to sleep for a week to recover now, and then I'll be ready for more adventures

 

Got that last day at work before my holiday feeling . Off to France for a long weekend on the bikes tomorrow

 

What train are you on? were off tomorrow as well on the 8:20 if you see a few ZZR1400's come and say Hi

We took the boat out of Newhaven across to Dieppe then headed west.

 

Oh well think we might have just missed each other then

Classic racing at Lydden. Lovely smell, lovely bikes and better then usual ice creams. The scooter races were as manic as ever. There was a sidecar outfit powered by a Sportster engine. Total madness. It didn't finish every race but it made my day!
